Introduction
Providing basic methodology of Roga Nidana and Vikruti Vijnana with recent developments in clinical diagnostics, bestowing complete knowledge of bedside clinics and advanced investigations with clinical interpretation.
Ojectives
- To develop a strong understanding of Ayurvedic diagnostics and pathology, including Dosha-Dushya Siddhanta, Vikruti Vijnana, Roga Nidana, Nidana Panchaka, Pariksha Vidhi, Shat Kriyakala, Rogamarga, and Vyadhi Vigyana.
- To build knowledge of disease mechanisms, immunity, and major health conditions, covering concepts such as Ojas, Vyadhikshamatva, Ashta Mahagada, Vishishta Vata Vyadhi, infectious diseases, and endocrinological disorders.
- To integrate Ayurvedic principles with modern medical sciences, including microbiology, pathology, biochemistry, immunology, and the classification and understanding of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Departmental Activities
Clinical Diagnostic Training
Conducting practical training in Ayurvedic diagnostic methods (Pariksha Vigyanam), disease assessment, Srotas examination, bedside clinical evaluation, and patient history taking.
Modern Diagnostic Exposure
Providing hands-on learning and interpretation of modern diagnostic tools such as X-ray, Ultrasound (USG), MRI, CT Scan, ECG, and other clinical investigation techniques.
Laboratory and Research Training
Training students in laboratory procedures, microbiology, pathology, communicable diseases, and the practical application of Krimi Vigyanam and disease investigation methods.
Skill Development and Safety Practices
Developing clinical competencies through demonstrations, patient interactions, laboratory exercises, and emergency safety protocols to ensure professional and safe healthcare practices.
